Njutånger Sweden

In the spring of 2021 I came across a woman photographer online, unfortunately I can not find her work any more. I think that she was from Afghanistan but it could easily of been Iraq - I wish I knew.

At the time I was inspired to take my own series of self portraits in her style. Of blending into the background that you are not seen as a person - or as a woman.

​

Now it seems even more relevant to publish this series to reflect all the women and girls that no longer have a presence in their world - OUR world.
